Amazon Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM)

Amazon Fulfillment by Merchant

“Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN) is Amazon’s terminology for Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM). It refers to a method of selling where sellers list products in Amazon stores, but manages all storage, shipping, and customer support independently.”

MFN (FBM) may be right for you if you:
  • Sell a low volume of products.
  • Have large or heavy items to ship.
  • Have plenty of space to store products.
  • Keep a small amount of inventory.
  • Deal with minimal fulfillment requirements.
  • Easily provide customer service and returns in-house.
  • Already have smooth-running logistics in place.
  • Have temperature-sensitive goods.

The other truly difficult part of selling on Amazon is dealing with velocity swings. During Beam Electronics’ growth, they were doing 200-300% increases month over month. We helped with airing freight and turning around prepped packaging in a number of days so that they wouldn’t lose their top rankings in their product categories. On the flip side, we can also help with managing any excess inventory that may arise.

We have 8 years of experience in handling Amazon fulfillment and FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon), FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant), and SFP (Seller Fulfilled Prime) Ready Prep services.
