A top 5 brand that sells most of the apparel goods in a top 2 major big box wholesaler had 300,000 jeans contaminated with mold.
The jeans were selling for $40/pair. The order had to be decontaminated and ready to ship within 2 weeks, or this brand would lose the wholesaler account, which could have been up to $100M in lost sales per year.
